Australia to begin air strikes in Iraq

Australia is set to begin airstrikes against Islamic State extremists in Iraq within days. The federal government has signed off on what the Prime Minister admits could be a long and dangerous mission. The cabinet has also approved the deployment of Australian special forces into Iraq to advise and assist Iraqi forces.
