A Diplomacy Report co-written by The University of South Australia and Beijing Normal University explore Australia-China relations in last ten years with a focus on cultural and arts exchange events between these two countries.


Professor Ying Zhu from The University of South Australia thinks political issues has interfered with Australian cultural and arts events, while China's government has invested more in their cultural industry.

However, Ying Zhu pointed out the arts and cultural exchange programs between both countries still have a huge capacity to improve, and language issue is not the only barrier.
