The International Tennis Hall of Fame has announced that Chinese tennis star Li Na, French great Mary Pierce, and former world No. 1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov of Russia have been elected to receive tennis’ ultimate honor in 2019 – induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Li Na will be the first enshrined tennis player born in Asia in the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Li retired in 2014 at age 32. She talked to SBS Mandarin, "I really enjoy the role as a mother after retirement."
