The number of salmonella cases linked to rockmelon from a Northern Territory grower has hit 100, but Australian producers say the "storm" is contained. As salmonella is pretty much everywhere and can infect any number of different foods that come into contact with the bacteria, how can we avoid salmonella affection in our daily life? Food science and safety expert Dr Jian Zhao from UNSW speaks with tips. Mandarin Producer Alan Qu reports.
