Benjamin Law talks on Family Law

SBS TV played six episodes drama written by Benjamin Law based on his memoir in early 2016. May Hu interviews Benjamin and talks about what he wrote in his book and how he took his stories to SBS TV. The Family Law, the story of a sprawling Chinese-Australian family of seven who are unlike any youve ever met. And yet, they may also be disturbingly familiar... Based on the hit memoir of the same name, The Family Law is a drama-comedy series set on Queenslands Sunshine Coast over one hot summer. Our guide is a 14-year-old Benjamin Law - slightly self-obsessed, clarinet-playing middle child - with aspirations to be a TV star.
