Phone culture not all positive Todays Essential Report reveals that while smartphones may have become ubiquitous, they are pushing many Australians to indulge in obsessive and sometimes dangerous behaviours. The report shows nearly half of Australians check their phone before they get out of bed, while more than one quarter experience anxiety and one in five admit to checking their phone while driving.
