Call to better support Tasmania's cultural diversity

Tasmania's government is being pressed to do more to support the state's culturally-specific groups. Places of worship and cultural centres can be important places for developing a sense of community. The Multicultural Council of Tasmania says stronger migration policies could help attract more migrants to the state, which has set an ambitious goal to boost its population.
