Claims of sexism in controversial US Open women’s final

Twenty-year-old Naomi Osaka has beaten Serena Williams in straight sets to win a controversial US Open women’s singles final. Williams received point and game penalties, including some for bad behaviour, in the second set. Williams claimed the behavioural penalties were sexist, as her conduct was not as bad as some behaviour for which male players escape punishment.
