An enlarging population are using rideshare service. Flexibility and convenience are not the privilege to passengers, they could be equally attractive to job seekers.


Mr Xue was a tour guide before a rideshare driver. He joined Uber as a part-time driver to earn extra money for his growing family. Adept in both driving and geography as a former tourist guide, Mr Xue got his new job started with an easy catch.

 

Mr Zhang gave up his well-paid full-time job to become a full-time Uber driver. While cash income is never a life threatening concern to him, Mr Zhang enjoyed his driving life when making passengers as friends. While Mr Lu is barely able to meet his daily needs driving for Uber and he called on the company to fairly treat Uber drivers of both old and new.
