Economic growth surges, for now

Australia's economy has grown at its fastest rate in 18 months. While the economy was close to contracting in the middle of this year, the September quarter result revealed a better than expected expansion: 0.9 per cent for the three months, making for a 2- and- a- half per cent rise annually.
