Xinting grew up in a tiny island in Zhejiang, China. Most men in her family are fishermen. As a young girl she loved listening to the radio. She listened everyday and later became a host in the local radio station. Radio gave her a window to the outside world and stimulated her to quit her stable job and went traveling. After going around the world she became the first batch of people to obtain a Working Holiday Visa from China to come to Australia. In this weeks Happy Weekend, Xinting tells Jun her Australian experiences and shares stories of her colourful life.
