DiDi Australia General Manager Mr. Lyn Ma said: “We’re excited the time has come to launch our popular DiDi Express rideshare service in Brisbane. To celebrate this, we can announce that we are providing Brisbane with an additional three DiDiDAYS, meaning that Brisbane’s rideshare users can take advantage of a free trip up to the value of $20 on the following six Saturdays after our launch into the city. We do this to thank Brisbane for its warm welcome and we look forward to providing an affordable, reliable and safe rideshare service into the future.”
Didi is not the first rideshare service with an ambitious vision to scale up international market shares by setting up a business in Australia. Shofer, GoCatch, Ola and etc, however, they didn't manage to survive and quite Australia in haste. How long will Didi survive in Australia?
