Cultural Strike of SBS Radio Mandarin Program explores the connections and conflicts between modern social values and traditional ethnic literature. The radio host Cindy Xie joins our guest speakers to exchange thoughts on topical issues initiating broader discussions in Australian Chinese communities. Face the ocean, breathe the blooms. A well-known Chinese poem of this kind is often used in the advertisement of property sales, said Dr Min Tao, who believed the poetry has been dying out. Dr Simon Shi said people nowadays prefer to post on social media other than read a poem. Life in Australia is peace and calm. Anyone could be a poet, if plays less on social media.
