Federal Labor has announced a policy package, it says is, designed to empower women and bring to an end what leader Bill Shorten has called "budgets for blokes". That's as the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull used a visit to Queensland to challenge Labor's economic plans, on a day the Liberal Party lost a Victorian candidate over his ownership of a brothel.
