Wild weather has lashed Tasmania and Australias east coast over the past few days, with flooding, erosion and high-speed winds wreaking millions of dollars of damage from Queensland to Tasmania. When claiming compensation from insurers, the affected property owners learnt with shock that many of damage of these kinds were not insured.
