Liberals pick Sharma for Wentworth despite push for woman

Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull's preferred candidate has been preselected for the upcoming by-election in his vacated seat of Wentworth. But the choice of former Australian ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma comes despite calls from Prime Minister Scott Morrison that it should be a female candidate.
