Lung cancer and bowel cancer are the most advanced when diagnosed

For the first time Cancer Australia has a research showing which cancers are identified early and which are diagnosed in later stages. It shows that lung cancer and bowel cancer are more likely to be diagnosed in later stages. Just 18%of lung cancer patients are diagnosed at an early stage and 46%of bowel cancers patients. On the other hand, 92%of melanomas are diagnosed early, 82%of prostate cancers, and 77% of female breast cancers. Jiao Lu has more details.
