Lung-cancer deaths among Aboriginal women a rising worry

Victorian women of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background are more than three times as likely to be diagnosed and die of lung cancer as their non-Indigenous counterparts. And new data shows lung-cancer rates among Aboriginal men are also twice as high as their non-Indigenous counterparts. The figures have overshadowed some success in reducing smoking among Aboriginal youths. Gareth Boreham reports.
