My volunteer experience at 2006 Commonwealth Games

21st Commonwealth Games open officially opened on 4th April 2018 in Gold Coast, Queensland.


The event was first held in 1930, and has taken place every four years since then. Australia is hosting this event for the fifth time this year. Other Australian cities who have hosted Commonwealth Games include Sydney (1938), Perth (1962), Brisbane (1982) and Melbourne (2006).

Jiao Lu talks about the history of this game and she will also share her experiences as a volunteer at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
