Nobody budging as US sanctions on Iran go into effect

The United States' renewed sanctions on Iran come into effect today, ((tue)) with both sides refusing to budge from their positions. US president Donald Trump says he is open to negotiations, but Iranian president Hassan Rouhani says his country can rely on China and Russia for economic support.
