Western Australia is about to hold its election next week. Tshung Chang is a candidate for the One Nation party in this coming election. Western Australia is facing a huge debt problem and the Liberal party is planning to partially privatize Western Power. As the One Nation candidate for Riverton, Tshung Chang does not support the privatization of Western Power. One Nation is proposing a new tax in WA. Non-residents purchasing any type of property in WA will incur a 20% tax. Contrary to his partys policy, Tshung Chang objects to such type of tax. In the Queensland election last year, a One Nation candidate Shan Ru Lin attracted significant controversy and criticism. She was eventually expelled from her party. Now Tshung Chang, another One Nation candidate with Cantonese ancestry is running for the seat of Riverton in this coming WA election. This has attracted some attention. In the eyes of Tshung Chang, what constitutes a good Asian? The first sentence from the One Nation website multiculturalism policy page claims multiculturalism has failed everywhere, how does Tshung view multiculturalism? William Shi from SBS mandarin program has interviewed Tshung Chang. Tshung first answer whether One Nation views global warming as a real problem. Please listen to the interview.
