QV Melbourne is celebrating Chinese New Year with screenings of two popular Chinese features Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (Saturday 28 Jan) and In The Mood for love (Sunday 29 Jan). Melbourne film maker Xin Li's stunning award-winning short animated films will be show before each of the features. Xin does beautiful paint-on-glass animation. Xin Li talks with Mo Lin about the two short films The Spring and The Autumn as well as the techniques behind paint-on-glass animations.
