In 1788 Governor Phillip established the second settlement of New South Wales at today's location of Parramatta Park. The area was chosen for its rich fertile soil and its suitability for cultivation. Ms Ching-Yi Wu from Parramatta Heritage and Visitor Information Centre introduces migrant history in Parramatta.
