Alex Zhang said patrolling in Melbourne CBD as a police officer was fulfilling his ‘Australian Dream’ since he landed in Tasmania 9 years ago.
Victorian Police Officer Alex Zhang is sharing his life journey from an international student to a police officer in Australia.
He was wounded, and also questioned by those who did not understand polices’ work. However, he still works hard to become a ‘good police’ to fulfill his dream.
He also encourages new migrants to learn more about Australian culture, and actively engage in mainstream society to develop a sense of belongingness.
