Protests over Chinese ballet performing in Melbourne

The staging of a Mao-era ballet in Australia has brought out protesters calling for it to be called off. The Red Detachment of Women is playing in Melbourne, through Saturday 18 Feb, but its detractors say it romanticises the rise of communism and should not be performed in Australia.
