This year’s Queens Birthday honours recipients are as diverse as their stories. Among those honoured include a Canberran who’s bridging cultural divides with the Middle East through her quiltmaking, and a Lebanese migrant dubbed the “champion of multiculturalism” for his work on promoting ethnic businesses. A Chinese-Australian volleyball coach credited with setting up Australia's sitting volleyball team has also been recognised.
