There's been a national day of mourning in Russia for the 92 people who perished on board the plane which disappeared from radar two minutes after taking off from Sochi on a flight bound for Syria.
64 of the 92 people on board were members of Russia's Alexandrov military music ensemble.
They were heading to Syria to perform a New Year concert for Russian troops.
Actor Vasily Lanovoy is among those paying his respects.
"December 25 is a day of great sorrow, especially for people who know the victims. Yesterday when I heard they had died, we were shocked. I think the Alexandrov Ensemble is a great team. They should come back -- they should not have passed away in this manner."
About 3,000 people are involved in the search effort, including 200 divers, with ships and submersibles and planes and helicopters.
Defence ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov says divers have recovered more plane fragments and more bodies.
"All found parts have been brought ashore and handed over to the investigation authorities. The search operation in the area of the TU-154 plane crash has gone on for 24 hours with no breaks. During the day, one more body was found and lifted aboard a rescue vessel."
Russian authorities say pilot error or a technical fault is the most likely explanation.
The aircraft came into service in 1983 and had undergone major repairs in December 2014.
Its last service was in September.
