Yuting Zhu is a retired university professor and music enthusiast who migrated to Australia from China five years ago. Bringing more than 25 different instruments with him, Yuting’s vision was to share his passion for music, donating a number of these instruments to local students, elders and institutions. Yuting began performing violin solos for the community at Dundas Library, and now teaches violin twice a week in schools, churches and nursing homes, for which he has received a certificate of recognition from the Dundas community. During his birthday celebrations last year, Yuting called on his friends to raise funds for farmers living in drought.
