The Art Gallery of New South Wales, based in Sydney, has opened the exhibition Tang (tung): Treasures from the Silk Road Capital. And at the heart of the Tang Empire was its capital city Chang'an, (chung-AHN) now present-day Xi'an. (shee-AHN)
