Taiwan's new defence report raises more concerns on China's threat

Taiwans Ministry of National Defense publishes a new reports on the status of the military and national security in Taiwan on 26 December.

The report emphasizes China's threat by listing details of Chinese military flights around the island. It also reveals the process of Taiwan-US arms sales for the first time.

 

Even through its military cooperation with US is fatal to Taiwan, Mr Xue Xiaoming, PhD candidate of International Relations, believes the best way to defense Taiwan is to reconstruct political trust with mainland China.
