21 of Feb. is the International Mother Language Day, an event created by UNESCO to celebrate and preserve the almost 7,000 languages spoken across the world. In Australia, more than 600 languages are spoken, half of them Indigenous languages. While some are becoming more prevalent, others are in danger of dying out. Sarah Abo reports.
