The Comfort Women: East Aisa's hugely emotional issue

Another Comfort Women statue was unveiled in Germany. Currently ver 40 comfort women statues erected in and outside of South Korea, including Australia. The Comfort Women is a hugely emotional issue that has marred relations between South Korea and Japan for decades. Most recently, Japan recalled its ambassador to South Korea to protest the placing of a statue symbolising victims of Japanese wartime sex slavery outside its consulate in the city of Busan. Professor Wang Weibin of Hiroshima Shudo University explains Japan's perspectives towards this issue. Dong Xing reports.
