The controversy over the Maos tribute concerts is continuing. The Embrace Australian Values Alliance, a newly formed online organisation expressed great concern about these events. It says, These concerts will damage the Australian value. The supporters believe people in Australia has the freedom of expression and it is their rights to hold the concerts to tribute Mao Zedong. However, Dr Chongyi Feng, an associate professor of China Studies at the University of Technology said that the freedom of expression in Australian should not be misinterpreted.
