There is continued uncertainty as to whether the US-North Korea summit is going ahead, but President Donald Trump has assured the public he'll know "next week". White House aides say they remain hopeful, with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo suggesting the US is prepared to walk away from nuclear negotiations with North Korea if the summit heads in the wrong direction.
