What made Singapore become the location for the Trump-Kim summit?

U.S. President Donald trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will set their historic summit in Singapore on June 12.


Dr. Yeow-Tong Chia is Senior Lecturer in History Curriculum Education at the University of Sydney, who is also the Country Coordinator for Singapore with the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre. He believes that Trump-Kim summit eventually selected Singapore, mainly attributed to Singapore ‘s great geographical location, safe environment, the rich experiences of holding important summits and neutral foreign policy.
