In 2016-17 finacial year, the foreign residential properties approval had a big fall, among which, overseas approvals decline was significantly. Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) suggests declining demand from China is one factor. What are the reasons of the outcome? Is there any possible property price will drop? Will be the up-and-downs an endless loop? Dr. Song Shi, Associate Professor from School of the Built Environment in UTS, shared his view on the topic.
