Visa is running out - what now?

Johannes Kunz heads a Migration Services Agency in Brisbane and advises on visa and immigration issues. He warns everyone now stuck here in Australia because of the corona crisis, that they shouldn't let their visa expire. It is relatively easy to apply for a new tourist visa on the Internet, but a working holiday visa must be applied for from outside Australia. He also mentions a few other interesting options, like the new Covid-19 Pandemic Temporary Activity Visa for backpackers. The most important thing, he warns, is to apply for a new visa when yours is running out, so that you don't end up staying in Australia illegally.
