Nepal Malaysia labor agreement: 'ensures workers pay less"

Governments of Nepal and Malaysia signed a labor agreement this week which, they say, will help workers who have been unable to go to Malaysia for the last five months.

According to the agreement, workers won't have to pay extra in addition to the minimum amount required.

This means Nepali workers won't have to pay airfare, medical check and visa cost.

Manpower agencies will also be required to pay 15 days of salary to workers beforehand, the move criticized by employment agencies.
