How to deal with unscrupulous employers taking advantage of foreign workers

You may have been lucky to have landed a temporary working visa in Australia, which is getting more difficult to secure nowadays. But into employment, you have noticed that you are not paid properly according to the contract and the working conditions are not comparable to what have been promised?


Unfortunately, you don't want to tell authorities because you are afraid  that your visa may be cancelled and be sent home. What are your recourse? Are there any?

Immigration agent Robert Bock, who is currently assisting three of seven allegedly exploited and underpaid Filipino workers with temporary working visas  by a Canberra massage parlour, talks about recourse for a possible permanent stay in Australia. The discussion does not in anyway suggest the merits of his current case.
