The narratives formed by Ub Ubbo's cultural exchanges imply the relevance of the intrinsic relationship between place and people.

 

My conversations with the members of Ub Ubbo Exchange indicates that land is an overarching theme in their art practice and cultures - be it Filipino, Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal Australian. This is an exploration of the centrality of land in culture and daily life amongst this group of creatives.
