Billions of dollars will be spent on tackling Australia's violence against women crisis. Funding will start flowing from July 1st next year, but there are concerns that the money will be too little, or too late.

Key Points
  • According to the Counting Dead Women project, 47 women have been violently killed in Australia this year.
  • Almost four billion of that is going towards legal services over the next five years.
  • The allocation of funds to be decided on by the states and territories to where they see the most need.
