'No more double shifts': Chefs turned business partners on entrepreneurship

Chefs Veronica Sulo, Christine Mendoza and Bernadeth Sulo partnered up by building two businesses selling savoury Filipino food and Pinoy desserts straight out of their customised trailers in Darwin.

  • Revenue in the Yogurt market amounts to US$ 1.49bn in 2025, according to Statista.
  • Business partners invested upwards of $80,000 AUD for their two trailers named 'Filosofood' which caters savory meals and 'Filosocool' for their dessert offerings.
  • Trading hours for the trailers are from Monday to Wednesday only from 5 pm- 8pm only, with weekends left for catering to various events from weddings to baptism, among others.
