• Australia is expected to receive 8.8 million short-term international arrivals in 2025, up from 8.6 million in 2024, with a large share coming from the United Kingdom and mainland China.
• Overseas arrivals are projected to rise by 24 per cent between 2025 and 2030, potentially reaching 10.9 million international visitors, with China as the fastest-growing market, followed by Hong Kong, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
