Mula 1992 patuloy ang paghahatid ng serbisyo at medical mission ang mga myembro ng Philipine-Australian Medical Association [PAMA] sa Pilipinas. Tumutulong din sila sa mga doktor mula sa Pilipinas para makakuha ng kwalipikasyon dito sa Australia.

  • Itinatag ang Philippine-Australian Medical Association (PAMA) noong Hunyo 14, 1992 sa tulong ng founder na si Dr. Corazon Alvarez-Francisco. Nagsimula ang ideya noong 1990 matapos maranasan ni Dr. Francisco ang hirap ng pagkuha ng Australian Medical Council (AMC) exams bilang isang doktor mula sa Pilipinas. Dahil dito, naisip niyang tumulong sa kapwa Pilipinong doktor na gustong magpraktis sa Australia.
  • Sila Dr. Belinda Lorenzo, Dr. Minerva Castor, Dr. Joyce Zonaga at film-maker Vonne Patiag ay ilang lang sa mga higit 100 na myembro ng Philippine Australian Medical Association.
  • Taun-taon nagtitipon ang grupo para sa fundraising na gagamitin sa medical mission sa Pilipinas. Hindi lang health care professionals ang kasapi ng grupo, marami ding Filipino-Australians ang mula sa ibat ibang larangan at propesyon ang kasapi sa pagbibigay ng tulong medikal sa mga kababayan sa Pilipinas.
