Swiss cinematographer, director and filmmaker Claudio von Planta is known for his work on the “Long Way” series with Ewan McGregor. The award-winning adventurer has won numerous awards and makes documentaries about conflict areas, innovative sustainability and mobility. He will present two of his latest works at the FEIT Film Festival in Melbourne on August 18 and 20. In the first part of our interview, we talk about filming in crisis areas and the benefits of e-motorcycles during a nearly 21,000 kilometer tour through the American continent for “Long Way Up.”
The FEIT Film Festival l will take place in Melbourne from September 18 to 23.
Claudio from Planta's documentary Chasing the Peak will be shown on September 18, Chasing the Sun on September 20. The cameraman, director and filmmaker will then be available for Q&As.
