The Slovakian PM Robert Fico has apparently regained consciousness following the assassination attempt on him. The alleged perpetrator was overwhelmed. It is said to be a 71-year-old writer. Dieter Herrmann, editor-in-chief of WEEK IN AUSTRALIA, explains the background to the crime.
