Australian researchers present 50,000-year-old skeleton of a giant kangaroo

It is a minor sensation: researchers have presented an almost complete skeleton of an extinct giant kangaroo. The animal, which lived around 50,000 years ago, probably did not hop, but walked upright like a human.
