In the practice of the dancers of the Motimaru ensemble everything is multicultural. Tiziana Longo comes from Sicily, Motoyo Kondo from Japan and both live in Berlin. They studied the traditions of dance in many different countries and founded Motimaru in 2010. Now they are presenting their productions "Twilight" and "Mut" in Sydney. The artists talk about the background to the two extraordinary productions in which Butoh, Martial Arts and Performance Art are developed further. It is about the connection of body and mind, which leads through dance to a transformation of the individual, to a universal metamorphosis. Their performances and workshops can currently be visited in Sydney. The performances will take place at Old 505 Theater in Newtown, Eliza Street, from 29 May to 17 June.
