In conversation: Peta Peter

Born in Germany but living in Australia since early childhood, Peta Peter produces a German-language radio program in the Southern Highlands. However, German is only one of 13 languages she has learned to speak at some point or other in her exciting life. She explains that fact by saying that she was a refugee, but I think there is more to it. Peta is very well versed in many other areas as well. She studied psychology, economics, was a principal dancer with the famous Sadler’s Wells Theatre, a television actress, and currently runs a Pilates studio in the Southern Highlands.
