Since October 2017 same-sex couples are allowed to marry in Germany. Annemarie Kuhlmann and Simone Schrunz have once again gone to the registry office to register their partnership as a marriage. We talked about the legal differences to the previous rules in the first part of the program. The second part is about whether the changes in the law can lead to real social change. On a very personal level, the two then talk about their own coming-out, the inclusion of Annes three children in their partnership and a study in which it was found that children from rainbow families can also have social advantages.
